As you get to the top, see in your mind a beautiful castle, temple, church, hotel, or whatever form speaks truest to your soul, standing at the very top of the mountain. See its beautiful doors open up to you as everyone within excitedly begins to cheer and welcome you in. As you walk into this beautiful place, envision it in as much detail as you possibly can as you create your own inner-palace. It is here that you can come to whenever you want to meditate, visualize, pray for yourself and others, or just simply allow your imagination to run wild.

One further tip is to write down any interesting experiences that your imagination brings forth while in this inner-place. This is essential as connecting with this inner-imaginative-temple opens up your 3rd eye. The opening of this inner eye is a symbol for the awakening of the divine child within. This is the aspect of yourself that is free to ride your childlike imagination, seen as the horse (or inner vehicle), through the depths of your inner-self. While this may seem fantastical, it is actually the key to finding and awakening your innermost ‘true self’ which is one with your immortal soul and dwells deep within you.

The True Self, or Immortal Soul, is the aspect of yourself that has been carried on from all of your previous incarnations. This aspect is further connected with your spiritual journey, your karmic weight, and your true purpose as they all relate to who you were, what you’ve done in the distant past, and who you’re truly supposed to be. Furthermore, you can only awaken your true self, connect with it, and come to understand it, by going within the inner-spiritual world, and allowing it to rise up out of the depths of the darkness.
